Hotel Anteroom Kyoto

Nice hotel with great wi-fi, laundry facilities, and 24-hour reception. The staff once helped me with printing. I can't wait to return for a new year!

The rooms with very good sound isolation and a dining area & table and onsen style wooden bath. Good meals with complimentary drinks.

Beds were not very comfortable.

The location is prime and quiet, a 15-minute walk from a bus station. We usually stay here for a trip and the room is always brand-new and modern.

The bathrooms are old.

The spacious room was immaculate, and I adored the variety of shower products available. The laundry facilities were a big plus, and the attentive staff consistently provided helpful assistance and recommendations throughout my visit.

Location might require some walking.

Our single room was tastefully decorated, a nice size. Its beds were large. The location was prime and marvellous, next to Inari shrine, the stores, and which are nearer. Kyoto district was worth visiting.

Definitely, there was pool missing.

Had facilities needed in my a double room, including central heating, multi-channel television and a fridge. The service was all in all good:)))

Super chill and artsy vibe

This place had a really unique charm. The art throughout was cool without being super hipster. Breakfast was a treat-the pancakes were fluffy and delish! The only thing was the space was a bit cramped for our suitcases, but we made it work. Love that there's a bar to unwind at in the evenings.

Bathroom sizes can feel tight and typical for the area. The location isn't the most convenient, as a 15-minute stroll is required to reach the station, and it's a hassle to navigate subway transfers for popular attractions. The physical key system initially seems nostalgic but may prove inconvenient for multiple guests.

I mean, why on earth was there only one pillow? Really. And for all this, I felt utterly robbed of an upgrade as compensation. Almost wrote a good review, but then found a blood smear on the bathroom door. Just gross.

I enjoyed the breakfast selection with homemade granola and smoothies. The warm atmosphere. I did wish for lunch or dinner options, though. My stay was very comfortable. As a couple from Italy, we appreciated the Kyoto specialty ingredients featured in the buffet. It was a short walk to the bus stop, made getting around easier than expected.

Stylish aesthetic with a fantastic garden view from my room. The wooden bathtub added a special touch to the experience. Staff were very helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The distance from Kyoto Station required a bit of walking, but it’s manageable and less crowded.
